C Major Scale Slur 8

Just like slurring 4 notes, the goal here is to play eight notes in every bow stroke. The key to slurring notes is to carefully divide the bow by the number of notes, in this case 1/8 for each note and then carefully play the notes in each bow.

C Major Scale with Rhythm

We practice scales with rhythm for two reasons. The first reason we practice scales with rhythm is that when we play music it is not always the same set rhythm.

C Major Scale Slur and Rhythm

When learning rhythms it can be beneficial to combine different rhythms and slurs together because this can help the player be more prepared for real life music where different rhythms and slurs are very common.

C Major Scale Slur 4

The goal is to play four notes in every bow stroke. The key to slurring notes is to carefully divide the bow by the number of notes, in this case 1/4 for each note and then carefully play the notes in each bow.
